Why Wristbands?

Did you know the length from wrist to elbow is the same length as your foot or that same forearm distance in relation to your hand is 1.618, the Divine proportion also known as the Golden ratio.

Well proportions come into play with wristbands as well. The wrist being smaller than the hand so that a correctly fitted wristband will not slide up from the wrist over the hand & be transferred to another person. Wristbands therefore make the ideal medium to identify patrons in a simple highly visible way.

A few other ratios of interest are:

• The length of your foot is the same as the distance around your fist.
• The distance around your fist is half the distance around your neck.
• The distance around your neck is half the distance around your waist.
• These proportions are averaged across populations & will not be exact for every individual.

Based on these ratios we could try neckbands for security instead of wristbands as proportionally they would work the same way, but that’s an idea unlikely to catch on.

Tyvek wristbands with a pattern offer more security than plain wristbands & these wristbands are often available in several colours.

These are stock items & can be despatched quickly.

We also use Toll satchels which are delivered overnight to most destinations. ( Monday – Friday inclusive).

Weekend deliveries are expensive & can be ridiculously so.

We do not apply surcharges on urgent deliveries either to wristbands or freight & will attempt to get you your wristbands at the most cost effective rate.
